I am experienced in working with a wide variety of clients from various backgrounds, ages and walks of life. I assist clients to identify sources of distress and then work collaboratively with the client to develop tools and strategies that are tailored to the individual that facilitate growth and wellbeing.
My areas of interest include anxiety and depression, grief and loss, distress associated with infertility, and chronic pain. I am able to work with a wide variety of mental health challenges, and am sensitive to subtle patterns and dynamics that may be impacting on the client. I pay particular attention to the therapeutic relationship and developing interventions and strategies that are tailored to the individual. I draw from evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness and Interpersonal Therapy.
